About Phibble Media

In 2006 Phil Bowyer was fed up with the music industry. Radio stations insisted on playing music from the same five bands and the industry seemed more concerned with perceived piracy threats than with actually cultivating great music.

All was not lost though, because Phil had an... idea ...yeah that's it!

His idea, which he then called Lighthouse Radio, was born. What started out as a simple little radio show called the Lighthouse Rocks Metal Show grew into a full service music site. A name change was in order to reflect the wider range of things the company did (OK, he really just wanted a cooler name like "Google"). So after hours of brainstorming, binge-drinking and consuming Tapitio-laced cheesy potatoes with his partner-in-crime Katie, Phibble was launched.

So, long story short, in late 2010, after serving the business community for over 15 years as well as the independent music industry for 4 years, Phil decided that he needed to shake things up a bit. Phibble would use it's talent in social media marketing, technology and world-wide network to help Independent musicians, authors and videographers realize their Vision.
